The Edison High cheerleading program hosted the 2nd Annual Mini Cheer Summer Camp for girls ages 5-12 at Edison High earlier this month.
Over 60 girls signed up for camp, which featured 35 cheerleaders and song girls serving as big sisters and mentors.
Funds raised from the cheer camp will be used to help fund travel expenses, coaches and uniforms for the cheer program at Edison High School.
The girls learned basic maneuvers and cheers, and will show off what they learned at Edison’s first home football game next Friday, Sept. 8, at Huntington Beach High.
